HISTORY

On September 30th, 2002, Sun Glee Formation School opened its doors with humble beginnings. On that memorable day, we welcomed just three pupils: Ogunyomi Tolani, Ogunyomi Tunbosun, and Olaniyi Oyeniyi. With a small yet dedicated team of four staff members, led by our pioneer head teacher, Mr. Tayo Odeyemi, we began our journey. While our initial numbers were modest, we remained undeterred. We knew that with persistence, dedication, and God’s grace, the school would flourish.

Indeed, our vision began to unfold, and soon, the pupil population started to grow steadily. Today, we are proud to have over 300 pupils in various classes, supported by 70 committed teaching and non-teaching staff. Despite the challenges we have faced along the way, we have stayed true to our mission of providing quality education rooted in academic and moral excellence.

In 2007, we reached a significant milestone when the government granted us approval for accreditation. This marked the beginning of a new chapter for Sun Glee Formation School, as it empowered us to expand our facilities and extend our offerings from primary to Junior and Senior Secondary levels. Our commitment to nurturing the three key domains of education—Affective, Psychomotor, and Cognitive—has ensured that our students excel in all areas. We are proud to say that our graduates consistently perform well, with 100% pass rates in Junior Secondary School exams and excellent results in Senior Secondary School external examinations, including WAEC and NECO.
